The Space Lady, born Susan Dietrich Schneider, is an outsider musician known for her unique blend of synth-pop and lo-fi electronic music. Her sound is characterized by ethereal vocals and the use of a vintage Casio keyboard, often accompanied by a simple drum machine. Influenced by the likes of The Beatles and Steve Reich, her music combines elements of classic pop with minimalist and space-themed aesthetics.
