The Quakes are a rockabilly band known for their energetic fusion of classic rockabilly rhythms with punk rock elements. Formed in Buffalo, New York, in the late 1980s, they draw notable influence from early rockabilly pioneers like Carl Perkins and the raw edge of punk bands such as The Clash. Their sound is defined by driving upright bass lines, sharp guitar riffs, and dynamic vocals, capturing the spirit of the rockabilly revival movement.
