The Murder Junkies are a punk rock band known for their raw and aggressive sound, deeply rooted in the traditions of hardcore punk. Originally formed in 1990, the band gained notoriety as the backing group for controversial punk figure GG Allin. Their music is characterized by fast tempos, abrasive guitar riffs, and confrontational lyrics, drawing influence from early punk acts like The Stooges and The Ramones. Despite numerous lineup changes, The Murder Junkies have maintained a commitment to the unfiltered, rebellious spirit of punk music.
