The Koffin Kats are a psychobilly band known for their energetic blend of punk rock and rockabilly influences. Formed in 2003 in Detroit, Michigan, the band draws inspiration from classic rockabilly acts like The Stray Cats and punk pioneers such as The Misfits. Their sound is characterized by driving upright bass lines, fast-paced guitar riffs, and gritty vocals, creating a raw and dynamic musical experience. The Koffin Kats' lyrical themes often explore dark and macabre subjects, aligning with their edgy, underground aesthetic.
