The Futureheads are a British band known for their energetic blend of post-punk revival and new wave. Formed in Sunderland in 2000, their sound is characterized by tight harmonies, angular guitar riffs, and rhythmic precision. Influenced by bands like Wire and Gang of Four, they bring a modern twist to the raw, minimalist style of late 70s punk. Their debut self-titled album, released in 2004, established them as a key part of the early 2000s indie rock scene.
