The Body — artist
The Body has 1 upcoming show, next at Zebulon on Thu, Oct 8. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
The Body is an experimental metal duo known for their genre-blending approach that incorporates elements of sludge metal, noise, and avant-garde music. Formed by Chip King and Lee Buford, the band draws notable influences from doom metal, industrial noise, and the stark intensity of early Swans. Their sound is defined by heavy, distorted guitar riffs, abrasive electronic textures, and haunting vocal styles, creating an atmosphere that is both oppressive and immersive. Through collaborations and a prolific output, The Body continues to push the boundaries of heavy music.
