The Stumblebums, AKA the Stumblebum Brass Band, is a very well know band in New York City, actually, FAMOUS on the Lower East Side. We are best known for our secret, ambush, and surprise musical performances! Our #1 objective is to bring fun and good times to any event; that is exactly what we do. Our music is New Orleans, jazz, punk, Jewish music, funk, and rock inspired. We play everything from "Smells Like Teen Spirit" to "Saints Go Marching In" to "Careless Whisper". The Stumblebums have performed on Real Housewives of New York, America's Got Talent, the Chris Gethard Show, and have toured the US extensively. We're also one of the few bands to tour Inuit villages in Alaska regularly; that's how dedicated to bringing music to the people we are. The Stumblebums have opened for Slash, Boston's very own Dropkick Murphy's, Irish singer Shane MacGowan, Murder Junkies, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, My Chemical Romance, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and countless of other local bands. We've appeared at all of the big venues in NYC like Webster Hall, Bowery Ballroom, Terminal 5, Irving Plaza, Mercury Lounge, and of course rocking out in the New York City Subway System. We pride ourselves as being an acoustic band that is untethered from amps, wires, and electrical outlets. Our regular instrumentation is Smidge Malone (vocals/trumpet), Jonny 6 (snare drum/drums), and Disco Ronnie (sousaphone). We can also amp up for larger venues, bigger events, and arenas. The Stumblebums can also add more musicians if you choose to have a larger marching band for your event. The three musicians mentioned above are the actual band. These are the musicians that you will actually see at your event. We do not sub out or find other bands to fill the slot. You actually get who you are paying for! Imagine that.
