Stereo MCs are a British electronic and hip hop group known for their fusion of dance, hip hop, and alternative music. Emerging in the late 1980s, their sound is characterized by catchy beats, socially conscious lyrics, and a blend of live instrumentation with electronic production. Influenced by funk, soul, and the burgeoning UK rave scene, they gained prominence with their 1992 album "Connected," which features their signature track of the same name. Their innovative approach and dynamic live performances have cemented their place in the evolution of British electronic music.
