Special Request — artist
Special Request has 2 upcoming shows, next at Factory Town on Fri, Oct 30. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
Special Request is the alias of UK-based DJ and producer Paul Woolford, known for his explorations in the realms of electronic and dance music. His sound is characterized by a fusion of jungle, techno, and house, often incorporating elements of vintage rave culture. Influenced by the early days of the UK rave scene and pirate radio, Special Request's music is marked by heavy basslines, breakbeats, and a raw, energetic edge. Woolford's work under this moniker is a homage to the underground sounds of the 1990s, reimagined with a contemporary twist.
