Special Duties is a British punk band known for their energetic and straightforward approach to the genre. Emerging in the early 1980s, they were influenced by first-wave punk bands like the Sex Pistols and The Clash, which is reflected in their raw sound and socially charged lyrics. Their music is characterized by fast-paced rhythms, catchy choruses, and a DIY ethos that aligns with the punk movement's foundational principles. Special Duties has maintained a consistent presence in the punk scene, appealing to fans who appreciate unpolished, authentic punk rock.
