Raydio was an American R&B and funk band formed in 1977 by musician and producer Ray Parker Jr. Known for their smooth blend of funk, R&B, and pop, Raydio's sound was defined by catchy melodies and Parker's distinctive guitar work. Influenced by the likes of Earth, Wind & Fire and Stevie Wonder, the band achieved commercial success with hits like "Jack and Jill" and "You Can't Change That." Their music often featured tight rhythms, polished production, and a radio-friendly appeal that resonated with audiences in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
