Founded by cellist and vocalist Melora Creager in 1992, the group draws notable influence from historical themes, Victorian aesthetics, and classical music. Their music is characterized by the use of multiple cellos, unconventional percussion, and Creager's ethereal vocals, creating a unique fusion that stands out in the alternative music scene.
