Orthodox is a band rooted in the genre of metal, specifically blending elements of doom and sludge with traditional heavy metal influences. Their sound is characterized by dense, heavy guitar riffs, deliberate pacing, and a powerful vocal delivery that draws inspiration from bands like Black Sabbath and Sleep. The group often incorporates experimental touches, adding depth and complexity to their music. Originating from Nashville, Tennessee, Orthodox stands out for their ability to balance aggression with atmospheric elements, creating a sound that is both raw and immersive.
