Oceanator — artist
Oceanator has 1 upcoming show, next at Cassette on Thu, Oct 15. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
Oceanator is the indie rock and grunge-pop project of Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Elise Okusami. Emerging in 2016, Oceanator has become a prominent voice in the modern D.I.Y. punk and indie scene, blending heavy, fuzzed-out guitar textures and driving rhythms with shimmering synth-pop hooks and deeply introspective lyricism.Okusami's songwriting frequently explores the intersection of apocalyptic dread and resilient hope. Following her breakout 2018 EP Lows, Oceanator released her debut full-length album, Things I Never Said (2020), on her own imprint, Plastic Miracles. She has since expanded her sonic footprint with acclaimed follow-ups like Nothing's Ever Fine (2022) and Everything Is Love and Death (2024), cementing her reputation as a powerhouse force in contemporary guitar-driven rock.
