Shapeshifter is a five-piece band from Christchurch, New Zealand, comprising PDigsss (vocals), Sam Trevethick (guitar/synths/sampler), Dan McGruer, Nick Robinson (bass/synths/MPC), and Darren Mathiassen (drums). They create a genre-defying sound that blends drum and bass, jazz, funk, rock, and electronica over bass culture foundations, capable of shifting from rolling drum and bass to guitar-driven jams to electronic soundscapes.
