Nekromantix is a Danish-American band known for their distinctive blend of psychobilly, a genre that fuses elements of punk rock and rockabilly. Formed in 1989, the band draws notable influences from 1950s rock and roll, horror themes, and punk energy. Their sound is defined by the use of the "Coffinbass," an upright bass shaped like a coffin, which adds a unique visual and auditory element to their performances. With a focus on catchy melodies and energetic rhythms, Nekromantix has become a staple in the psychobilly scene.
