Moskwa is a Polish punk rock band known for their energetic and raw sound, which emerged in the early 1980s. Their music is characterized by fast-paced rhythms, gritty guitar riffs, and socially conscious lyrics, reflecting the socio-political climate of Poland at the time. Influenced by Western punk pioneers like The Clash and The Sex Pistols, Moskwa has maintained a distinct Eastern European edge that sets them apart within the punk genre. Their straightforward, hard-hitting approach continues to resonate with fans of classic punk music.
