Modern Robot — artist
Modern Robot has 1 upcoming show, next at Flat Iron on Sun, Oct 4. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
Modern Robot is a band from Greensboro, North Carolina, featuring Ben Singer on keys and Kyle Poehling on drums, along with various guests. They perform live improvised soundtracks to films, primarily drawing from public domain and creative commons sources including silent films, feature films, and ephemeral films such as instructional and industry films. Their shows combine a symphonic sensibility with drums and electric guitar, and they subsequently create film scores by layering recordings of their live performances back into the original films with found-sound elements.
