Mike Joyce is a British drummer best known for his work with the influential alternative rock band The Smiths. His drumming style, characterized by its crisp, steady rhythms, played a crucial role in shaping the band's sound during the 1980s. Influenced by punk rock and post-punk music, Joyce's approach combines the raw energy of early punk with a more refined, melodic sensibility.
