Miamibloco is a percussion-led movement inspired by Rio's street blocos and samba schools, built for and by Miami. The group gathers in public space to play samba, bossa nova, MPB, and cumbia, with formats ranging from trios to larger street blocos featuring acoustic samba drums and original music. They perform at The Parker Fort Lauderdale and The Bridge, and welcome participants with no experience necessary.
