Mecano

Mecano was a Spanish pop band formed in 1981, known for their synth-pop and new wave sound, which often incorporated elements of rock and flamenco. Influenced by the burgeoning electronic music scene and traditional Spanish music, their sound was defined by catchy melodies, Ana Torroja's distinctive vocals, and the innovative songwriting of brothers Nacho and José María Cano. The band's ability to blend contemporary and classical influences made them one of the most successful Spanish-language pop acts of the 1980s and early 1990s.
