Marian Hill is an electronic pop duo consisting of vocalist Samantha Gongol and producer Jeremy Lloyd. Their sound blends electronic production with pop sensibilities, characterized by minimalist beats, layered vocals, and atmospheric production. The project gained recognition with their 2015 single "Down," which became a viral hit on streaming platforms. Their music draws from influences in electronic and alternative pop, with a focus on precise production and vocal experimentation. Gongol's ethereal vocals paired with Lloyd's intricate production create a distinctive aesthetic that sits between indie pop and electronic music.
