Luton Youth Percussion Orchestra is led by percussionist Billy Strachan and delivers a diverse range of percussive pieces for students, featuring instruments including snare drum, timpani, xylophones and marimba. The ensemble performs in a concert at the end of every term at Queen Elizabeth School. The group meets on Wednesday evenings during term time and is open to musicians aged 10-18 who can read music at Grade 2 standard and above.
