Laibach — artist
Laibach has 2 upcoming shows, next at Rockefeller on Fri, Oct 9. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
Laibach is a Slovenian industrial music group formed in 1980, known for their confrontational approach to sound and provocative visual aesthetics. Their music blends industrial, noise, and classical elements, often incorporating orchestral arrangements alongside harsh electronic textures. The band is recognized for recontextualizing existing works—particularly classical compositions and national anthems—through distortion and reinterpretation. Laibach's sound is defined by a collision of high and low culture, combining grandiose orchestration with abrasive production. They remain influential figures in industrial and experimental music, with a career spanning four decades.
