La Tène is a Franco-Swiss band featuring Cyril Bondi on percussion and harmonium, Jacques Puech and Louis Jacques on cabrette and bagpipe, Guilhem Lacroux on electric guitar, and Jérémie Sauvage on electric bass, with founding member Alexis Degrenier on hurdy-gurdy, percussion, and electronics. The group produces music that weaves together traditional music, saturated repetition, and ethereal harmonics, distilling influences into patterns and themes rather than arranging or reinventing existing forms. Their music has no standard structures or conventional verse forms, instead building through repeated gestures and fragmented elements.
