Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Kweku Saunderson is a multifaceted DJ, producer, and songwriter carving his own path in the electronic music landscape. Growing up under the tutelage of his uncle—Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson—Kweku was steeped in the foundations of dance music from an early age. After cutting his teeth touring across Europe, sharing stages with house and techno heavyweights like Carl Cox and Derrick May, and releasing on iconic labels such as Defected, Armada, and KMS Records, he has shifted his focus toward producing under his own name. Drawing from his rich musical heritage, Kweku brings a genre-bending, vocal-driven approach to his productions, expertly bridging the gap between underground club energy and soulful songwriting.
