Krokus is a Swiss hard rock band formed in 1975, known for their straightforward, blues-influenced approach to heavy rock. The group built their reputation through energetic live performances and radio-friendly anthems, with their sound characterized by solid guitar work, powerful vocals, and accessible song structures. Key albums like "Headhunter" (1983) established them as reliable purveyors of stadium rock during the 1980s. Their style draws from classic rock and blues traditions rather than the more extreme metal subgenres of their era. Krokus remains active and continues to tour, maintaining a dedicated fanbase primarily in Europe.
