Jonah Matranga is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his introspective, emotionally direct approach to alternative rock and indie music. He rose to prominence in the 1990s as the frontman of the post-hardcore band Onelinedrawing, and later pursued a solo career marked by acoustic arrangements and vulnerable lyrical content. His work draws from influences in punk, emo, and indie rock, characterized by raw vocal delivery and confessional songwriting. Matranga's sound emphasizes emotional authenticity over technical polish, often featuring stripped-down instrumentation that foregrounds his lyrics and vocal performance.
