John Kadlecik is an American guitarist and singer known for his work in the jam band and rock genres. A founding member of Dark Star Orchestra, Kadlecik is recognized for his ability to emulate the sound of Jerry Garcia, a primary influence, while also bringing his own improvisational style to performances. His music is characterized by fluid guitar solos and a blend of rock, folk, and blues elements. Kadlecik has also played with Phil Lesh and Friends and Furthur, further cementing his connection to the Grateful Dead legacy.
