Joe Kay is a Los Angeles-based DJ, producer, and cultural curator best known as the founder and creative director of Soulection, a globally recognized music collective and platform that bridges artists, producers, and music lovers worldwide. Since launching in 2011, Soulection has evolved into a multifaceted brand encompassing a record label, radio show, and live event series, all centered around genre-blending sounds and forward-thinking artistry. Kay hosts the weekly Soulection Radio show on Apple Music 1, which has amassed nearly 700 episodes, showcasing a diverse array of music from genres like R&B, soul, electronic, and global rhythms. His keen ear for emerging talent has played a pivotal role in the rise of artists such as Bryson Tiller, Snoh Aalegra, SiR, Brent Faiyaz, Daniel Caesar, Kaytranada, Smino, and Masego.In April 2025, Joe Kay released his debut solo EP, If Not Now, Then When?, a six-track project crafted in his Joshua Tree retreat.
