Walshe's compositions frequently engage with language, text, and theatrical elements, creating immersive multimedia experiences. She has collaborated with contemporary music ensembles and has had her work performed at major festivals including Donaueschingen and the Venice Biennale. Her sound is characterized by a willingness to deconstruct traditional musical structures in favor of exploring timbre, texture, and conceptual frameworks.
