Jamie T — artist
Jamie T has 12 upcoming shows, next at O2 Academy Birmingham on Sun, Dec 6. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
Jamie T is a British singer-songwriter and rapper from Wimbledon who emerged in the mid-2000s. His music blends indie rock, hip-hop, and garage rock influences, characterized by rapid-fire, often stream-of-consciousness vocal delivery over guitar-driven and electronic-influenced production. His early work drew comparisons to artists like The Streets and Arctic Monkeys, though his style incorporates more varied instrumentation and introspective lyricism. T's sound is defined by energetic arrangements, witty wordplay, and introspective examinations of youth culture and personal experience. He released several albums including "Panic Prevention" (2007) and "Kings of the New Road" (2009) before taking a hiatus, later returning to music in the 2020s.
