Imarhan — artist
Imarhan has 3 upcoming shows, next at SPOT De Oosterpoort on Sun, Oct 11. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
Imarhan is a Tuareg band from Tamanrasset, Algeria, known for their unique blend of traditional Saharan music and modern rock influences. Their sound is characterized by rhythmic guitar riffs, driving percussion, and soulful vocals, creating a fusion that bridges the gap between ancient desert blues and contemporary sounds. Influenced by pioneering Tuareg groups such as Tinariwen, Imarhan also incorporates elements of funk and pop, resulting in a fresh take on desert rock that resonates with both local and international audiences.
