Heinali is a composer and sound artist who uses modular synthesiser and electro-acoustic instrumentation to extract historical acoustic phenomena and compositional techniques from their original contexts and place them within contemporary frameworks. Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko is a singer practising authentic Ukrainian vocal tradition. Together they created Гільдеґарда, a reimagining of Hildegard von Bingen's music that combines Ukrainian folk singing approaches with modular synthesis techniques drawn from high medieval polyphony. They have performed at St. Sophia in Kyiv.
