Gruesome is a death metal band known for their homage to the early work of Death, particularly the era defined by the late Chuck Schuldiner. Their sound is characterized by aggressive riffs, intricate guitar solos, and guttural vocals, capturing the raw essence of late 1980s and early 1990s death metal. Influenced heavily by the pioneering works of Death, Possessed, and Obituary, Gruesome aims to authentically recreate the genre's formative years while contributing their own compositions. Formed by members with deep roots in the metal scene, the band continues to celebrate and preserve the legacy of classic death metal.
