Girlfriend on the moon is the project of Tess Mueske, which began in Los Angeles, California in October 2020. The band plays melancholy yet grungy alternative rock and has toured across the west coast, southwest, and nationwide. Now based in Madrid, Spain, girlfriend on the moon is working on their first full-length album, counting my blessings, to be released early 2027.
