GAS is the ambient music project of German electronic musician Wolfgang Voigt. Known for its immersive soundscapes, GAS blends elements of ambient, minimal techno, and classical music to create a unique auditory experience. Voigt's work under this moniker is heavily influenced by the natural surroundings of the German forest, which is reflected in the organic textures and layered drones that define the project's sound. The music of GAS often evokes a sense of timelessness and introspection, standing out for its ability to merge the boundaries between the natural and the synthetic.
