Free was a British rock band formed in 1968, known for their blend of blues rock and hard rock. Their sound was characterized by Paul Rodgers' soulful vocals and Paul Kossoff's emotive guitar work, drawing notable influence from blues legends like Muddy Waters and Albert King. The band's minimalist approach, with a focus on groove and feel, is best exemplified in their hit "All Right Now." Despite their relatively brief career, Free's music has left a lasting impact on the rock genre.
