Four Tet is the primary solo moniker of Kieran Hebden, a pioneering English electronic musician, DJ, and producer. Emerging in the late 1990s, he first gained critical acclaim for blending organic acoustic samples with hip-hop and jazz-infused beats, helping to define the "folktronica" genre with landmark albums like Rounds (2003). Over the last two decades, his sound has continually evolved, heavily embracing underground house, techno, and UK bass music. Today, Four Tet is a globally venerated DJ and producer—operating his own label, Text Records, remixing heavyweights like Rihanna and Aphex Twin, and selling out massive arenas alongside frequent collaborators Skrillex and Fred again.
