The Duprees are an American doo-wop and R&B group known for their smooth harmonies and nostalgic sound. Emerging in the early 1960s, they drew inspiration from big band music and classic pop standards, which they blended with contemporary doo-wop influences. Their signature sound is defined by lush vocal arrangements and romantic ballads, as exemplified in their well-known hit "You Belong to Me." The Duprees' ability to reinterpret older songs with a modern twist helped them carve a unique niche in the music landscape of their time.
