Their music draws notable influence from bands like The Smiths and The Cure, blending introspective lyrics with anthemic melodies. Defined by Jo Bevan's distinct voice and the group's dynamic instrumentation, Desperate Journalist crafts songs that resonate with both urgency and depth.
