Density Black Cat is a high-energy band bringing authentic, old-school NYC Rock-n-Roll back to the forefront. Known for their infectious backbeats and driving grooves, the group has quickly captured the attention of the independent rock scene and radio DJs alike.Their sound has been praised as a "Rock-n-Roll Resurrection" by WFMU's John Pietaro, while The Manhattan Beat recently featured them as "Rising Stars" in their Under the Radar column. Former NME writer Michele Kirsch notes that the band "throws it down and rocks it out," a reputation they consistently live up to.Density Black Cat's gritty, classic New York sound is captured on their EP, Parkside Action, which features the hard-hitting lead single "No Letting Go." Building on that momentum, the band has continued to expand their catalog with a steady stream of fresh, groove-laden singles, including their recent 2025 and 2026 releases "Dark Star," "Looking in Your Mirror," and "Breakaway."
