Craig Handy

Craig Handy is a renowed saxophonist who has been ackowledged with a big, burly tenor sound, as well as sharp wit and uniquness. Ever since his early career in New York in 1986, Handy has noted that ever experience helps evolve and define his musical style. After a show with Mingus Dynasty at the Bottom Line, Bill Cosby approached Handy and offered him to opportunity to be the featured artist on the recording of the theme for the Cosby Show. In 1992, Handy released his debut recording with, Split Second Timing, on the Arabesque Record Label. Two years later, Handy released, Three For All + One, which recieved great reviews claiming it to be one of the leanest, meanest groups playing jazz.
