CKY, short for Camp Kill Yourself, is an American rock band known for their fusion of alternative rock and stoner metal, with elements of skate punk. Formed in 1998, the band draws notable influences from bands like Black Sabbath and Queens of the Stone Age, contributing to their heavy, riff-driven sound. CKY's music is characterized by its distinctive guitar tones and energetic rhythms, often paired with introspective and sometimes irreverent lyrics. Their work gained additional exposure through connections with the "Jackass" television series, further cementing their place in early 2000s rock culture.
