Circle Jerks are a seminal American punk rock band formed in 1979 in Los Angeles, California. Known for their fast-paced, energetic sound, they played a pivotal role in shaping the hardcore punk scene. Their music is characterized by short, aggressive tracks and politically charged lyrics, drawing influence from early punk bands like Black Flag and The Germs. The band's lineup has seen various changes, with frontman Keith Morris, a former member of Black Flag, being a consistent presence. Circle Jerks' raw, unfiltered approach to punk continues to resonate with audiences, cementing their place in punk history.
