Tom Keifer is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the glam metal band Cinderella, formed in Philadelphia in 1983. The band is known for blending hard rock and heavy metal with blues influences and acoustic elements, particularly on their 1986 hit "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)." Keifer's raspy, distinctive vocal style and the band's emphasis on melodic songwriting helped define their sound during the 1980s hair metal era. Cinderella achieved significant commercial success with multi-platinum albums before the band initially disbanded in 2005, later reuniting for tours. Keifer has also pursued a solo career, releasing albums that continue to explore rock and blues-influenced material.
