Chairmen of the Board was an American soul and R&B group formed in the late 1960s, best known for their work with producer Holland-Dozier-Holland. The group's sound blended smooth soul vocals with funk-influenced rhythms and sophisticated arrangements typical of Motown-era production. They achieved commercial success with hits like "Give Me Just a Little More Time" and "Everything's Coming Up Roses," which showcased their polished vocal harmonies and upbeat, danceable grooves. Their music drew from traditional soul and doo-wop influences while incorporating contemporary funk and pop sensibilities of the early 1970s. Chairmen of the Board remained active performers throughout their career, maintaining a presence in soul and oldies circuits.
