Careerist is an alternative rock band hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Their sound is characterized by a blend of jangly guitar riffs, introspective lyrics, and a dynamic rhythm section, drawing notable influences from 1990s indie rock and post-punk revival bands. The group's music often explores themes of modern ennui and societal pressures, delivered with a distinctive Northern Irish wit. Careerist's approach to songwriting combines melodic sensibility with a raw, unpolished edge, setting them apart in the contemporary indie rock scene.
