Formed in London in 1992, Bush is a British alternative rock band that became one of the defining voices of the 1990s post-grunge movement. Led by frontman and rhythm guitarist Gavin Rossdale, the band achieved massive international success with their 1994 debut album, Sixteen Stone, which went six times multi-platinum.For musicians, Bush's catalog is a goldmine of heavy, distorted riffs and driving rhythm sections. Their music perfectly captures the angst and energy of 90s alt-rock, relying heavily on accessible power chords, dynamic shifts, and memorable, gravelly vocal melodies. Whether you are a beginner looking to practice your transitions or an experienced player chasing that quintessential 90s grunge tone, their songs are incredibly satisfying to play.
