Brooks Nielsen is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist of The Growlers, a band that blends elements of rock, surf, and psychedelic music. His sound is characterized by a laid-back, yet gritty vocal style, often set against a backdrop of jangly guitars and steady rhythms. Influenced by a mix of 1960s rock, California surf culture, and modern indie aesthetics, Nielsen's music often explores themes of love, life, and existential musings. As a solo artist, he continues to evolve his sound while maintaining the eclectic essence that defines his work with The Growlers.
